Questions?
We’ve Got Answers.
When should I book a doula?
Many families book during pregnancy before the third to secure support, but it’s never too late. If you’ve already had your baby, we can still step in to provide postpartum care and guidance.
Do doulas replace partners or other family support?
Not at all. Doulas work alongside partners and families, helping everyone feel more confident and supported. We strengthen the support system you already have.
How is a doula different from a nurse or midwife?
Doulas are non-medical professionals. While nurses and midwives focus on clinical care, doulas focus on education, comfort, and hands-on support for the whole family during pregnancy, birth, and postpartum.
Do you accept insurance?
We do not bill insurance directly. However, many families are able to use their FSA/HSA benefits for reimbursement. We’re happy to provide the documentation you need to submit for coverage.
What if I can’t afford doula services?
We believe every family deserves support. A limited number of sliding scale spots and subsidies are available. Please reach out to discuss options—we’ll do our best to connect you with care that fits your needs.
